Quilting 101

If you’ve always wanted to know how to quilt, this is the class for you. This is a four session class.

You will learn, basic quilting skills that include understanding patterns and fabrics, rotary cutting & piecing techniques. As well as the basic quilting terminology that goes with it.

Dianne will introduce you to the proper way to use a rotary cutter and a ruler. You will also learn the proper sewing machine feet to use and when to use them.

The classic squares you will be working on are: Dutchman’s Puzzle, Ohio Star, Rail Fence and Monkey Wrench as well as binding.

This is a 4 session class starting:
March 30     10:30am - 1:30pm
April 6         10:30am - 1:30pm
April 20       10:30am - 1:30pm
May 4          10:30am - 12:30pm

  • Batting discussion
